High-Pressure Gas Membrane Plant
The high-pressure gas membrane plant is used to investigate the permeation behaviour of single gases and gas mixtures through microporous ceramic and carbon membranes in static experiments. The feed flow rate, the temperature and the permeate pressure are automatically controlled. Pressures up to 150 bar and temperatures up to 170 °C are possible.
For binary gas mixtures the separation selectivity is meassured continuously by heat conductivity sensors. Furthermore GC-MS is applied on-line for multy-component gas mixtures.
